You could say either MS, LA, or AL. I think OK takes this title come July 1 though.
Alabama beats the other two states just because the northeast corner of the state has mountains and waterfalls. It also has a nice beach area and the Lake Martin area is nice. I’d say both Mississippi and Louisiana have nice areas in their respective states, but they both are probably tied for last in this category. Until Oklahoma is officially SEC.

I love visiting Louisiana...looking forward to getting to visit all the other sec states over the years...oklahoma isn't the best for sure, but it isn't the worst either. Probably the second worst (sorry Mississippi).

Drive US287 from Fort Worth to the Oklahoma border in the Panhandle. Longest drive of geographical UGLY in the SEC footprint. I feel very sorry for folks who live in places like Dalhart, TX and Childress, TX, and Vernon, TX, and Quanah, TX.

Louisiana has arguably the best cuisine, I'll give them that.
I also find LA's/NOLA's rustic history to be very charming
The physical geography of that state and the general smell of sulfur-y piss you can't escape as you walk the streets of NOLA are not ideal.

As of July 1st, Oklahoma and Texas. Honestly can not think of any redeeming qualities of either. Well, maybe Big Bend.

Amicalola Falls is one of the most peaceful spots on earth. The hiking in that area of the Georgia mountains is amazing.
Every state has beauty and every state has challenges. You shouldn't judge an entire state based on its worst features.

I live in Sautee Nacoochee, Ga at the base of Mt. Yonah (Cherokee for Bear Mtn) in north Georgia.

Stupid arse!
Can’t stop anywhere in Birmingham!
AH analytics is tracking murder rates in 90 different cities. While Atlanta and New York are bigger than Birmingham, they don’t have a larger murder rate.
AH analytics data from up to June 27 shows that Birmingham was at a rate of 28 per 100 thousand with 59 murders. Atlanta had more murders, but with more people, the city only had a rate of nearly 15 per hundred thousand

Yonah Mountain winery is a great place to visit. There's also NoFo Brewery (used to be Tantrum). I've hiked Yonah Mountain once and I've got to go back. That whole region is amazingly beautiful.

I was stationed at Altus AFB and can tell ya the Western Oklahoma is uglier than anything in the other SEC states, especially Louisiana.
