Are any other details in the report? Was going 55 in a 35 on Prince Avenue (I'm guilty) or was he doing 100 in a 55 on the 10Loop, or what? The arrest time is in the middle of the day and there's no DUI charge listed, so maybe just speeding like a regular person? Sure would be great to read the police report.

No one is getting arrested for driving 55 in a 35

To actually get a reckless driving charge AND arrested, you’re driving triple digits and/or 40+ over the speed limit and doing other stupid shite in the process

UGA is improving, at least nobody died this time. Kids are going to be stupid, but I would think they would slow down before they kill someone else.

It's ACCPD we have had kids arrested for "emerging from an alley" "not giving his middle name" and kicking a trash can in the past. Not cited arrested.

Georgia is thug central these days. Lack of institutional control is in their near future.

They either need to take a hard look at the character of guys they are recruiting or they have a big culture problem. Seems like both.

So... poor driving is "thuggery" these days?

I mean, getting arrested isn't a good thing... but it seems like the line for "being a thug" has moved over the years. When I was a kid, driving offenses didn't qualify. It was generally saved for activity that involved violence in some way.
