Unfortunately even a world class vet can’t save poor Sparky after it gets nailed by a UGA football player going 100mph+

“It’s always surprised me how few vet schools there are in the US.”
I am under the impression this was a well thought out plan many many years ago.. they know many people want to be vets and realize if they make to many and pump out graduates the salary of a vet will plummet..
Sorta like the river boat pilots they manage the supply.

Auburn’s Vet school is so good it is also Kentucky’s. 38 spots are reserved for Kentucky residents.
My first full-time summer job was working as a vet assistant when I was 16-17. He was an Auburn vet school grad. I worked two summers doing everything from cleaning kennels to worming cattle to assisting surgery to spaying dogs and cats. Very cool job as a teenager. I was so proud of it I listed it on my first resume as a college graduate. He’s a great guy and even though he’s retired we’re still in touch.

I agree. Our vet is an Auburn graduate. His father, now retired, is also. They are both very good with their animal patients.

LSU's does a similar program for Arkansas residents, I believe a dozen or so spots are held for Arkansans.
In return, the University of Arkansas gives the same number of students from Louisiana an in-state scholarship offer and grants

UGA vet school is poorly regarded. Too bad.
Really? Then, that means the UF vet school is equally poorly regarded.
Georgia and Florida vet schools are both tied for 7th best vet school in the nation along with the Univ of Wisconsin's vet school.
Top Veterinary Schools in the USA....
1 -- Univ of California-Davis
2 -- Colorado State
3 -- Cornell Univ, Ohio State
5 -- N.C. State, Univ of Pennsylvania
7 -- Univ of Georgia, Univ of Florida, Univ of Wisconsin
10 -- Texas A&M University

UF vet school acceptance rate: 13.7% mean GPA 3.4
UGA Vet School acceptance rate: 9.22% mean GPA 3.7
Acceptance rates don't determine the level of selectivity by itself....a lot of other factors are involved.
Actually, UGA's & UF's vet schools are pretty much equal, as they're tied for 7th best in the country with Wisconsin.
Back in the 1970s, I remember UGA's vet school was ranked at the top with UCLA's.

Instead of being a loser, can you comment on the Florida themed fire hydrant that let the dogs piss on? That's really what this thread is about.

Oh? Then, why did you post about acceptance rates? What does that have to do with fire hydrants?
Perhaps you ought to pose as a fire hydrant and let the dogs piss on YOU.

Neither Clemson nor USC have a vet school

Neither Clemson nor USC have a vet school, we reserve 20+ spots each year for them.
That's changing in a couple of years when Clemson opens its new vet college.
