If Florida can run then UGA is in serious trouble. Especially if the offense isn't turning the ball over.
Add in Florida's terrific defense and special teams and UGA's only other chance is huge long TD passes.
Big plays are a great equalizer. UGA hits a few and they will win.

As bad as our offense is, Florida still dominates time of possession. They run the football, play defense, and don't turn it over. That's a recipe for success at any level.

Are you suggesting that the Florida defense was more tolerant of the heat at home than LSU's defense on the road? I would think that the weather in Louisiana is about as hot and humid as it is Florida. And actually cool breezes off the water surrounding the Florida peninsula has a moderating effect on it's climate.

Use whatever excuse you want heat or whatever but that's what UF run game does. And it is helped by the Defense. The Defensive holds the other team to short drives that puts the Other teams D right back out there and I think they (please God forgive me for saying this) but they grind te other team down and that's one reason why UF is so much more effective in the second half. When you keep on and on and on eventually things break open.
The key to me is Florida not falling down more than they can come back from (I know rocket science right) but what I mean is that UF has to either be ahead or be down little enough that they can still run their game. They do not want to be in a passing battle even though I believe JD is better than people give him credit for.

We have only given up 9 TD's this year. 3 went for over 10 yards but none were over 12 yards.
