Blaylock was a big loss. Everybody has injured players, though (see Waddle).

Now add in Mac jones quitting, and things are equal.

So UGA should just eliminate the quick passing game from the playbook?

Bennett has trouble throwing flat passes over rushing linemen. Bennet doesn't seem able to loft intermediate passes over linebackers. The kinds of pass plays designed for Russell Wilson and Drew Brees will work. Both of those QBs use long drops.

They also are exceptional at finding throwing lanes to work around and through the OL and DL traffic. Both are absolutely not taking deep drops every time.

ETA: Stetson Bennett is not Russell Wilson or Drew Brees, basically.

Is there a possibility that Daniels just doesn't fit what Monken wants to run?

I don’t think so, at least not compared to the current situation.

I think Daniels was Monken's handpicked QB. Supposedly, he had to get his knee scoped again after he had his initial surgery and it set him back awhile.
