UGA should try to work Mathis back in if Daniels can't go

Bennett is a nice story and all, but 5'11" probably isn't going to get it done against Bama (or OSU or Clemson). They'll be able to physically overmatch the rest of the teams on their schedule (yes even Florida) with defense and the running game. Plenty of time to get Mathis ready for the rematch with Bama

I’d like to see us go up big on UK early with Stet so we can see both Dwan and JT and go from there.

I will. Florida running game still is still basically ineffective and their defense is god awful. Another UGA blowout win in Jax no matter who Kirby starts at QB

Stetson has the support of his teammates and I think that, as well as his play in the first 3 games, is keeping him ahead of Mathis.

I think coach Kirby Smart has a better feel on his quarterback room than we do. He knows what each player brings to the table. Mathis choked under pressure.

Says someone who hasn’t seen Dwan Mathis play football. He made Stetson Bennett look like a Heisman candidate. Bennett probably isn’t gonna win you a national championship but you can do a lot worse. That’s probably not a lot of comfort for Georgia fans right now but it’s reality.

Bennett is the best healthy qb we have. Dwan isn’t the guy.

This guy knows his football. Sadly, many of ours fans haven’t accepted this.

Personally, I think Bennett gives us the best chance to get through UK and UF. Once we're past them I'd like to work in Mathis or Daniels more to see what they can do and to see if they can take the job from Bennett

what? Everyone in our fanbase accepts this. Bennett isn't a national title caliber QB and we aren't going to beat bama with him, I think everyone knows that. However, he is good enough to win every game on our schedule up to bama again, which is nice I suppose. It's not like we're continuing to play stetson because we just think he's so awesome, I mean he started 4th on the depth chart for a reason.

Most haven’t accepted Bennett is our best healthy option. People, such as Op, are still calling for dwan.
