It's another year with an embarrassment of riches at running back.
Now if Kirby can figure how to get two of them the ball on the same play you got something. Otherwise good chance it'll be another year of dashed hopes for y'all.

UGA ought to be able to throw it around but will the scheme unshackle the QB to do it?
The million dollar question. I hope so, but only time will tell.

Lol yep. It’s going to be really funny when UGA fans realize JTs “awesome” games were really just a product of really bad defenses. Hell Miss State about beat them with 48 scholarship players. At home. UGA better worry about that defense.
Also JT vs. Cincy 1 TD-1 INT. He was rattled as hell in the pocket with pressure.
JT Daniels is wayyyy overhyped.

So what is your best guess on his 2021 stats? Just how overhyped do you think he is.

What are your expectations? What would you say he needs to hit to warrant the hype?
Fields put up 3200 yards passing 67% completion, 41-3 TD-INT and about 500 yards rushing.
Lawrence put 3600 yards passing 66% completion 36-8 TD-INT and about 550 yards rushing.
Do you feel Daniels can put up comparable numbers?

You were supposed to answer a question, and you provided nothing of the sort.

Of the top 20 rb's (ypc) that are returning for 2021 in the SEC -
UGA - 4
TAMU- 3
Auburn - 2
South Carolina - 2
UK - 1
LSU - 1
Tenn - 1
Mizzou - 1
LSU - 1
Arky - 1
Ole Miss - 1
Bama - 1
Florida 0
Ms St 0
Vandy 0

Just out of curiosity, with 8 teams with 1 back, why do you list Alabama last?....just curious.

3600 passing yards.
67% completion.
9.8 YPA
3:1 TD to INT ratio.
He already averaged over 300 ypg so I just multiplied that times 12 games. =3600. Might be a little over or a little under.
He did 67% last year, so going with the same.
9.8 YPA is a little lower than what he did last year, being conservative on this one.
3:1 TD to INT is about average for a good QB.
You asked.

When I compiled the list last May (yes this is an old topic) I messed up and had Bama at 0 because I thought yall's senior had jumped to the NFL or graduated, then a poster corrected me to add him back in. That's why Bama was listed toward the bottom. Had you actually read the thread you probably could have figured that out in context within the back and forth and whatnot.

Not knocking GA, but I wouldn't trade our running backs room for anyone else's. Achane is going to be a beast.

Higher than I would go by a bit. He’s likely closer to 2,800-3,100 yards, 63-65% completion, 3-1 is doable, 27-9 type numbers. A good Jake Fromm type season assuming they play 14 games this year.

Responding to the question posed to another implies you are willing to answer to it. If that’s an issue, pose the question to yourself.

I’m just happy to have a strong backfield at UF again. Bowman is an amazing prospect we haven’t had a Rb that highly ranked in a long time. Then add in Lingard at change of pace for the next 2 years and other kids..looking forward to it

JT Daniels will go for 3,100 yards. 30 TDs and 15 INTs. -50 yards rushing for the season (this stat is why UGA won’t win a natty) He has been a pretty high INT guy. His only full season of ball he completed 60% of his passes, 15 TDS and 11 INTS. Last year against 3 awful SEC defenses he took advantage of an MSU defense was starting waters boys in its back field and vs USCe who just CWM fired he threw for 139 yards 2 TDS and 1 interception and his QBR was a whopping 56 points. His lowest QBR was against Cincy where he had 1 TD and 1 INT and was the only semblance of a defense and in the conference they play in we aren’t sure how good they really were.
Posted on 8/9/21 at 8:33 pm to RiseUpATL
Any guesses why he only threw for 156 against USCe?
Posted on 8/9/21 at 8:37 pm to Smokeyone
If his downside is "a good Jake Fromm type season" then I will take it.
