Or perhaps they realized that they were going to struggle to play with all the talent around them and decided to seek programs in worse shape so that they could get more playing time.

Lot of wishful thinking by Georgia's opponents in this thread.
We've seen this the last couple of years (see Burton, Brini, Bryant, etc., etc.).
History proves that these players leaving is NOT good news for the rest of the SEC.
