Wasn't Bama without their #1 RB and #1 CB in that game?

And they were ridiculed for it. Now a Georgia guy does it, and it’s okay bc Bama did it? What kind of circular logic bs is that?

You wouldn’t have thought that with all the crowing before and during game.

Come loss-time, the excuse machine went brrrrrt.

The difference between Georgia doing it after this year and Alabama doing it after the losing the title game is we saw what Alabama did to Georgia with a healthy Metchie and Williams

Yet they couldn't beat Bama led by Jalen Milroe with Saban on the decline.

It’s just that you act as if I’m imagining you did same thing and you started an OP about it them making excuses.

This is the thread we laugh at UGA and their fans for being conveniently hypocritical. At least their two biggest play makers got to play in the game.

We lost one completely before the game and lost the 2nd one in the first half, and still held a lead until the 8 minute mark in the 4th Quarter.

Plot twist for UGA fans: injuries to key players makes a difference.

Every fanbase complains about injuries and/or officiating when their team loses a game. It's the 'fanatical' component of being a fan.

We've always known that. Georgia fans are just as guilty of it as anyone else.

Injuries are always an excuse for the loser, and never an excuse for the winner. Always been like that. The truth is injuries to key players of course affect the games, to suggest otherwise is purely ignorant to reality. Doesn’t put an asterisk in the history books, and people won’t remember them, but yes injuries to your best players affect games. UGA was getting torched until bamas WR’s went out injured, that wasn’t a “tactical change”.

What’s the difference in Bama still complaining about losing in the Natty because of Williams being out?

GA fans have every right to complain as long as you are doing it
