UGA would have to really lay an egg against LSU. Plus, it would take USC winning over Notre Dame and Oregon in very impressive fashion.

I don't think we'll get the chance to find out but if OP's scenario did actually play out it would put the committee in a difficult spot. If they advanced only Georgia or only LSU it would cause another split NC which is exactly what they were designed to prevent. If they didn't advance either one (like 2017 B1G) the SEC would riot and and it would probably also lead to a split NC.

Well uga did struggle against Kentucky. Who has only won 2 of last 7 (meat of sec schedule for them)

And LSU lost to FSU, got the everloving shite beat out of you at home by Tennessee, who Georgia beat by 2-touchdowns and barely beat the worst Alabama team in 20 years.
