Bigger isn't necessarily better. Neyland is the most uncomfortable stadium I have visited. Knees in your back and no room but a hell of a view. I agree with those who advocate for more space and amenities.

I can vouch for this. OU packs fans in like sardines.

College game day being an obvious exception. But of the 50 or so games played on Saturday how many do you think have college game day at them?
Covid nonsense was the driver in getting them called remotely.

It took 1 year last time.

Such an odd post when you consider 2021 and 2022. You do remember the best back to back seasons in the modern sec era, right?

Every mega stadium would be better off dropping 10k seats to increase comfort for fans
Demographics is destiny.
Less and less disposable income for the many.
Those with disposable income don’t really choose to invest so much of their free time in the game day slog when they can watch every game on TV.
I think the in stadium experience is going to have to be more than aluminum bench and overpriced food that you have to get yourself while baking in the heat waiting through a 3 minute commercial break.
I think the future in stadium seating may evolve like theaters have. Very comfortable seating. More service oriented food and beverage options.
Capacity shrinking would help make room for table service dining. Recliners.

It’s been since 2020 since an SEC football game was not called live from the booth.
Go back and look at each Vol broadcast from 2023.
Brother, you’re mistaken.

5 year average attendance

Georgia: 92,760
You have more empty seats than UGA has.
Considering the success at both schools in that 5 years period, that is pretty impressive for UT.
Good on UGA for not downsizing.

This was something said in 2021 so you'll have to excuse us if we say you don't have a clue about football.

Actually...it took one year. 2021 until 2022.
By your logic we should win the rest of the championships.
