Well, despite a 6-7 record, UGA booster contributions came in at $300,000 over what was projected with $23 million total.

Oh, and one more reason I won't be going back to Jacksonville next year: UGA-UF ticket prices for 2012-2013 have gone up from $40 regular/$70 club to $60/$100

are you serious? you're complaining about a $60 ticket against your biggest rival.. dang. You should try getting tickets to the Iron Bowl.

$60 ticket x4 for a trip that usually comes with two or three nights in a hotel, gas form ATL to Jacksonville and back, food and booze for the stay. I'm in college, an $80 increase still means something to me

maybe you should sacrifice a night in the hotel.. stay one night.. that would almost even it out.

Welcome to the real world.

I went to a regular season Yankees game the other day. I sat past third base about 40 rows up and face value was $175. Get back to me when UGA plays 82 home games.

If you're in college and broke, why are you springing for 4 tickets?

$125 min to see Ark/A&M play. Hell you couldn't catch a Baylor game for less than $60, not saying you'd want too.

To see a nationally intruiging rivalry game at a neutral site for 60-100, consider yourselves lucky.

done that before. Makes for a real shitty day when you leave at 3 AM and drive down and stay that night, or stay the night before and try to drive home after the game. I think my initial frustration with it had more to do with UGA's dubious record in Jacksonville and now we're paying more. Obviously, UGA fans are willing to pay whatever we have to pay (evidenced by the other number I posted) but still, it's aggravating. I feel like little enos burdett sometimes, reluctantly shelling out money for the sake of having a good time

Grandma already gets 2 with her season tickets and parents typically throw me bones for accommodations. Some kids get normal presents but I like going to games even if we usually lose them

Well have your other 3 friends pay for their own ticket, and you'll have an extra $180 to blow in Jacksonville.

Same. the UF game was the last bastion of a "cheap" game (I wonder wonder what it's like sometimes when I look at old ticket stubs my grandpa has that say $5 and $10

Grandpa gets two with the season tickets as well, but lets me pick up two more if I want (I usually do) I'm in charge of food and the rest. I'll just request that the freeloaders pay for the hotel and gas in exchange for tickets and booze

Sacrificing a night at the WLOCP? Ludicrous
