I figured it was because with the way Clemson is going, UGA didnt want to get penalizied in rankings for adding another rent a win
I really am now hating clemson for the charade of a quilty win now two years in a row

We also had our home & home with OK canceled by the SEC a few years back, good luck scheduling anyone decent with like 2 month's notice

I mean I get your point, and it's somewhat valid, but Sc vs VT or Miami is not UGA vs Clemson.
In UGA's case, Clemson is(a school that's less than 100 miles from Athens and one you have a traditional rivalry with.

This, it's lost on nobody that if UT didn't schedule Ohio St. last year and instead scheduled Rice or Louisana Monroe, we were in the CFP.

You still missed my point. The point was that almost, if not all, programs are cancelling series because we went to a 9 game SEC schedule. For any program to act like it is some sort of "GOTCHA!" to talk about a cancelled series is dumb, since chances are, their own team has done the same.
ETA
I would also add that Georgia has a natural rivalry with GT, just like USCe has a natural rivalry with Clemson. We are not going to cancel GT, just like you are not going to cancel Clemson, and it is dumb in this era to schedule another tough matchup, which is why Georgia and South Carolina is cancelling other OOC games.

I can't imagine why. Why schedule 11 out of 12 tough games, when you are trying to make the playoffs.
We cancelled Clemson for the same reason South Carolina cancelled your games. Why is it egregious for Georgia and not SC?

People wanted to pay college players and now complain about NIL. People wanted to allow college players to switch teams easier and now complain about the TP. People wanted a 4 team playoff and then complained that it was not enough teams. Then people wanted a 12 team playoff and are now complaining it is not enough. We are about to move to a 24 team playoff and some will be complaining that is not enough. People wanted to schedule 9 SEC games and are now complaining about teams cancelling compelling regular season games. People need to stop complaining and calling for change because so far, I have not seen changes that have been beneficial to college football.

I get what you are saying, and we have played Clemson a lot over the years. But, unfortunately it is what happens when things (College football rules) get turned upside down. left alone with the BCS or even the 4 team playoffs, scheduling would have probably stayed the same.
I have no problem with you or South Carolina, for that matter. I hate that the Clemson games will go away.
