Alabama has had 8 undefeated untied seasons. UGA and LSU have 5 between them and one of those was 1946 during WW 2.

I assume an undefeated SEC champion would get a BYE. Bottom 8 playoff would play round one. So IF undefeated SEC team won 3 playoff games, they’d be 16-0.
Or with 9 game conference schedule, do we all play 13 regular season games?
So 17-0 would be possible?

Actually you are incorrect. Auburn is 29-22-3 against UT. UT has 11 undefeated seasons to Auburns 12.
The two games you speak of were not luck. The dawg has two defenders and should have knocked the ball down, Bama should have made the tackle. Bad coaching on both accounts.

You are incorrect. We did NOT play Samford or Kent State in 2019. Where TF did you get THAT from ??????????????
We DID however in 2019 play: Georgia Southern, Northwestern State, Utah State, and Vanderbilt- all within the first five games (interspersed with playing AT then #6 Texas). Texas, Ga.Southern and Utah State all had winning records, however BTW.
Also, AFTER the Utah State game, we did play 10 straight Power 5 schools, the first 8 of which were SEC teams, and the final 2 were in the CFB playoffs.
Of those 10 straight final game, SIX were Top Ten opponents, four were Top FIVE opponents. Nine bowl teams.
NO ONE has EVER done that....

True, but what would you rather have
1) A team that won 15 football games once
2) A team that has double digit national titles in football
UGA and LSU sitting at the kid's table, Bama at the man's table
