We aren’t trailing the Vawls in all time wins anymore.

He simply ignores that and tells us about another stat no one cares about, to go with his imaginary made up national title count.

I’m very happy that Bobo is our new OC. You won’t be. Given how bad AU is I don’t think it would matter if I were coaching UGA. I think I could call a successful game against y’all and it really wouldn’t be that hard

The BCS was the first initial “playoff style post season”. It was basically a 1 game playoff.

(playoffs)
a series of contests played to determine the winner of a championship, as between the leading teams in different divisions or leagues:

So actually the Vols was the first team in the SEC to finish the season undefeated and win a post season National Championship.

And came up 2 games short.

UGA and LSU are the only SEC football programs to have a 15-0 season.
What an extraordinary feeling. You really have to have a physically dominant team that is extremely deep to win all of your SEC regular season games, the SECCG, and a two game CFP. And you also have to have a team that is incredibly mentally tough and focused. These are the two greatest teams in the history of college football. You have no idea what it feels like to go 15-0 until your team accomplishes that feat. Greatest feeling in sports.

But, but.....we went 10-0 against an all-SEC schedule while wearing MASKS!...WE should be called the GOAT!!
........said NO ONE outside of Tuscacrappa.....

I'll have to contact a local psychic in order to ask my great grand pappy about those CRAZY Volunteer titles from the 30's, 40's, and 50's

Everyone knows those titles are super legit and super relevant for comparison of modern college football programs. Who does UGA think they are? Back to back CFP Titles? Pussies

Everyone is itching to brag about their Dust Bowl, Depression Era titles.

It really is true. Even presuming an overall team advantage in terms of talent vs all of one's opponents, there are so many ways to lose a game or two, especially on the road in a conference game or in a neutral site postseason game. Perhaps even more impressive is that they had so few close games at all.

Yes, Vandy, Kent State, Georgia Southern, Northwesteern State, Utah State, Samford makes the 15 wins very impressive.

In LSU's case, wins over #9 Texas, #7 Florida, #9 Auburn, #3 Alabama, #4 Georgia, #4 Oklahoma, and #3 Clemson says plenty. Georgia's wins are equally impressive. In Alabama's many impressive championships, they beat good teams and also some bad teams. In fact the same could be said of every champion. Is this too hard to comprehend?
