I don't have any expectations for the season. However I expect the worst will happen concerning politics on the field. Sports is suppose to be a temporary escape from reality. Everyone is neutral for a brief time. Politics and sports like religion and politics don't mix.

The sad truth is, many SEC fans see the ability to play football as the only redeeming value of these young black players. Most could give a crap whether they lived or died if they didn't play football for their own benefit and for our entertainment.

It’s been a crazy few months for everyone on all levels. And it’s shown that football is far from the most important thing in the world, yet they’re doing their best to provide us entertainment. It’s a simple peaceful unifying demonstration, like when the Saints would take the field holding hands before all their 2005 games.
