So you're fine with the Dawgs travelling ~5X the distance Fl. has to travel YEARLY?

That makes zero sense.

I'd love to have an Atlanta/Miami matchup.

But the Atlanta/Jacksonville comparison is absolutely the correct comparison in terms of neutral sites.

People always compare North GA to North FL, what about all the South Florida fans who drive to the game in Jax? It is about the same as the drive from Atlanta to Jax (actually longer). It's a 10 hour drive from Miami to ATL. There are plenty of people in Ft Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Ft Myers, Naples, who go to this game and moving it to ATL is in no way keeping it neutral.

It has nothing to do with team travel, it is all about the fans imo.

You really are a dipshit.

The last thing Florida Gator fans should want is for the UGA Bulldawgs to stack the stadium in Miami and then to drub the Gators.
Can you imagine the recruiting boon for James Coley with all of those S Florida recruits?

You think your Florida recruiting is struggling now, imagine the Dawgs takeover in Miami.

Uhm, I think you misinterpreted my post. I'm saying it doesn't matter if some florida fans decide to live in Miami or if UGA fans decide to live in Chattanooga. What matters is the distances from the respective universities.

E.G. UGA to Jacksonville is 364 miles and Gainesville to Jacksonville is 70.

But somehow UGA to Atlanta being 60 miles is more unfair than Gainesville to Jacksonville being 70 miles.

I don't care about this but, I'm just hoping whatever resolution is arrived at further degrades and erodes the traditions and rivalries that make college football unique and that we further corporatize it so that we have the sterile, programmed atmosphere of NFL football.

Is it in Jacksonville?

Orlando, Daytona Beach, or the Keys would be better,

Why there?

If it were in Disney-Land,

Would you bitch and complain?

What is so important about Jacksonville?

You have Daytona, Miami, The Keys and Tampa.

Why Jacksonville?

I must have misinterpreted your post. We agree on what you just wrote.

My inclusion is that MOST Fl. fans think that the WLOCP should never be played in our state.

Yes, because there’s so many 70k capacity stadiums in those areas that could easily host the game, this is a very solid idea, great work!

OMG Georgia might go from the number 1 class to.........the number 1 class!!! Whatever will we do?

Unlike you who is a total jock sniffer, I don't care about the coaches or players. Please move it out of Jax, fine by me. Georgia fans have a much better experience with the game where it is, but I am guessing you have probably never been to the game and if you have, you haven't done the St. Simons part of it.

By all means I hope it moves to home stadiums. Georgia fans will be giving up way more than Florida fans. frick the coaches and players. It doesn't really matter to them, Kirby is just trying to take advantage, which is what a good coach does.

You don't have to worry about that until next recruiting season.

Then why are you here?

you have probably never been

You don't know Jack shite about football. It isn't surprising that you don't know Jack shite about the other posters on the rant either.

Again... why do you even follow the sport?
Life is short. You obviously are into torturing yourself. Why else would you choose to represent the Gators on a message board.

How about never? I don't give a shite about recruiting.

Because it is my alma mater and I love the social aspect with the other fans. I root for the jersey and don't care who is wearing it.

I played college football, so I probably know a little bit.

No I don't know anything about the other posters OTR. I guess you got me there.

I don't follow a sport, I follow my school. Actually I don't even follow them, I just watch some of the games and root for them. I don't really care what they do in their down time for the most part.

You ain't kidding.

Watching Florida athletics is pretty much torture, I have to agree with you on that, but I don't represent anyone unless someone wants to pay me.
