Nope. Best DL is Bama. Allen, Williams and Anderson are all back and were extremely disruptive. These 3 are all possible first rounders next year.

It really is getting embarrassing for you now. You take swipes at anyone within arms length in every thread you're in and rarely get anyone to bite.

Tennessee has a pretty damn good line in Knoxville. Barnette, Phillips, Shy, Khalil and Kongbo is filthy.

UGA, Auburn and LSU all have a shite ton of talent too though.

So the Tennessee DL returns 32.5 career sacks hu? Impressive.

The Alabama DL returns 41 sacks. From only 2015.

Everyone in the league is going to have the best D-line. Even the teams that finished in the bottom 1/3 in defense last year.

SEC IS THE BEST!

Think Arkansas will have a very solid starting line and nice rotation. Not the best but top 5 at least.

2015 Auburn D-line (not including Lawson)
Montravious Adams - 5 star
Byron Cowart - 5 star
DaVonte Lambert - 4 star
Dontavious Russell - 4 star
Cas McKinzy - 4 star
Devaroe Lawrence - 3 star

Not exactly chopped liver star wise.

They brought in a great DL class to go with cowart and co but I'm not sure how confident they are in the guy that's supposed to develop them

Must have. No way they are all 5* from one service. Or did you take their highest rank from any site?

Cass McKinzy the LB? Interesting

Point out the pass rusher on that line. Cass only got in a 3 point stance in certain limited situations for a few games, so he doesn't count. Having a pass rusher or two is kind of an important piece that makes a DL work. That's why it's called a unit, you need all the pieces...

UT may have some talent but they don't have the coaching to reach their potential. McKenzie didn't do shite because he's lazy, Barnett disappeared in a lot of games, and Tuttle/Phillips although showed flashes are injury prone. Kongbo is a ?

Ourlads lists him as a DE, I guess it depends on how you group him (like Rashaan Evans and guys like him for us).

Who is the pass rusher this year? Lawson, obviously, but who else? Cowart?

Cowart looks like he's slimmed down in spring practice pics and by all accounts has stepped up his pass rushing. Paul James is a JUCO guy brought in for pass rushing. Prince Tega is supposedely such a freak and does things so effortlessly he doesn't even realize what a freak he is. Hopefully Thorton and Kennion have put on the weight to play consistently because they are pass rushers

ETA.

Jeff Holland also rushes the passer like a 3-4 OLB. Darrell Williams has that same body type too, but we haven't seen him play yet
