UF vs common sense
It's understandable they want the game to stay in Gainesville. Worried about moving and then ultimately being able to host the game.

I would just cancel school and the game and let the students go home to help their folks.

Didn't you guys have a game cancelled last year?

everyone is fricked. forget the fans, this was supposed to be a big recruiting weekend for Florida.
Program just can't buy a break lately.

Their cancelled game had no effect on conference standings.

a non conference game against McNeese
This is an SEC game and there is a TV contract.
It isn't getting cancelled.

UF should reimburse ticket holders. Aftermarket sales are another story. They will likely get stiffed

That is what you are worried about?

I am sure Florida will announce a ticket refund policy

So for the 2nd year in a row LSU will luck their way into another home game due to a tropical system.

I think LSU gave an option to either reimburse or give credit to the next years season ticket cost

Umm, frick conference standings. There is a Hurricane coming and conference standings are the least of my worries. We can forfeit if necessary. I love football as much as the next guy, but come on.

After all the tropical systems that have fricked us over the years, it's the least Mother Nature could do for us. Plus, we would've rolled SC last year no matter where the game was played. This game is a little different...

I get that sentiment, but I really don't think the SEC is going to want to have to deal with potential tiebreakers or something like that. They'll play, it's just a matter of when and where.
