Undefeated through the first four games, looked ok, but untested. Played good teams and got roasted. If they go 2-1 against Bama, LSU, Auburn I will be stunned.

hell no.

they have a senior QB at the helm.

they have a good defense to rely on.

they have competent coordinators.

they actually have a plan in place.

LSU 2008 was nowhere near that.

UF 2011 hasn't struggled with anyone yet. LSU 2008 can't say the same.

I did not say that they were exactly the same, I said that it reminded me of the same untested team coming into its conference schedule. I realize that the two teams have different attributes.

I agree. Florida has as much talent as LSU and Bama and also has great coaches. They could be very good this year.

offense wasn't lsu's problem in '08, even with lee's int problem.

that secondary was completely lost against tenn. they looked terrible, a la lsu '08.

muschamp's defenses were TERRIBLE at texas.

How terrible were they? Bottom half of the NCAA each year. I don't know.

His SEC defenses did well.

Pretty sure their main problem was zero running game and a guy named Gilbert last year. Also, I didn't realize Alabama was playing a Muschamp led Texas team this weekend.

Actually (in 2010) any team that had an inside running game killed Texas. So he wasn't completely false.

i doubt saban and ears completely turned over the defensive scheme to rah rah guy.

i don't see how anyone can start to know how good he is on his own until after the bama game

they gave up a significant amount of passing yards to a team that can't run the ball and was completely out of sync offensively and lost their best receiver early in the game. uf was out of position, dropped several potential int's and just didn't look good. that's how

I'll just say hosting Bama is obviously a big game for Florida, especially in how the coaching staff will be viewed, starting with the head coach, then to the OC. A lot will be answered in the Swamp Saturday night.
