On3: NEWS: UCF has emerged as the team to watch for the Arkansas transfer QB KJ Jefferson, @PeteNakos_ reports.

Thought it seemed weird to go from the SEC to UCF at first but the more I think about it UCF is an upgrade to Arkansas in football.

KJ will thrive in Gus' simple offense, especially against subpar competition compared to the SEC. This is likely all about getting good tape for the draft, snd Gus probably sold him on how he would make him 'Cam 2.0' which is KJ's hero... So that should tell you all you need to know.

He probably also took a big paycut compared to what he was making at Ark, which was rumored to be around $750K.

He'll prolly do well under Gus. Gus helped Plumlee out as well.

Yeah he would probably do really well there, he’s no Cam Newton but he’s big.

UCF is in the big12 now so the competition wont be as bad as when they were in the American but still much easier than playing against SEC defenses

Gus would run KJ on QB keepers so many times his legs would be worn to nubs.

Right kind of offense for KJ to be in.

I can't imagine him being effective on Whirly Bird plays.

I thought maybe tcu because of Briles but this makes sense as well. He’ll probably do well in malazahn’s offense and we won’t have to play against him either.

I'd love to see Malzahn back in the SEC at a school kicking auburn's azz.

Cool!
He’d still lose to LSU and UGA

Long as he beats the Barn, don't care who he loses to.

Right on. Gus lacked developing QBs at AU.

All Auburn, all the time.
It’s flattering, really.

It’s a moot point anyway because nobody is hiring that four-eyed clown in the SEC, especially after his underwhelming tenure in Orlando.
