I don't think their coaching staff get any advantage at all on other teams when both have extra time to prepare

i'm sure saban will have some blitzes that wilson has never seen. no doubt petrino will try to prepare him for everything, but the complexities is what gives them an advantage. wilson will have to guess what the D is doing and even the best qbs have trouble playing that guessing game.

to me experience will be the biggest factor in this game. last year bama had two true freshman on the field on D and a lack of leadership because no one could fill ro mcclain's shoes. this year they have zero freshman and more leadership from hightower and barron. the experience of bama's defense lets coaches make adjustments faster and more easily. making adjustments is crucial against petrino because you know he is gonna have a good game plan. as for arkansas, they are gonna need their OLine to draw on every bit of experience they have. its undoubtedly gonna be the biggest test for this young group of OL so far. they are gonna have to give Wilson a little time in the pocket and try to establish a run game to keep the pass rush honest.

its been the same story on arkansas for several years. elite skill players (especially offense) but not enough elite talent on the line.

Not sure about that but if you say so.

FTR, and not that your will think much of it because your mind has been made up, but the blitz was handled better than you think in last year's game. Mallet was 8-12 when Saban/Co called a blitz. His 3 INT's came with no blitz, in fact. The final INT to seal the fate was a 4 man rush and did have Mallett off-balance however.

Will it happen again because of calls no mortal has ever seen before? WTFK.

I find it odd that LSU fans tend to want Bama to win over Arkansas.

LSU fans are rooting for Bama because they are ranked #2 dipshit. The media thinks wayyyy more of LSU beating Bama than they do LSU beating Arky. With asshats like Boise State & chOklahoma undefeated we need LSU to beat Bama in early Nov & Arky in late Nov to solidify at shot at the title. If we had to drop one game and still compete the media would rather that team be Bama. So yea, LSU fans want Bama undefeated if
LSU is still undefeated Nov 5th.

saban's D disguises the blitz, they make it a guessing game for the qb. im not saying saban will creat a new blitz package never before seen in the history of time. im saying there is so much going on and so many possibilities that the qb will be unsure of what the defense is doing and its likely that there will be some new schemes which we havent run with this current group of players

If they couldn't do it last year at home against a weaker Bama team, I don't see them doing it in T-town. Possible, but not likely.
penn St. has a better Defense than Ark and Tyler Wilson has played against 3 $hitty Defenses to get his numbers.

Tyler's only played 2 games...

I think Alabama wins, primarily because of the youth of our O line and the fact that we miss Knile Davis.

I'm already having visions of Mitch Smothers and Jason Peacock getting owned by the Alabama front seven.

If I'm wrong and the O line exceeds my expectations, we can win.

This is where Bama fans show their stupidity. You do realize they have played one of the worst teams in D1 and another team that lacks talent in the middle of the big 10 without a coach right. Bama D is good but they will give up 20 at some point.

Ftr, weren't you the same Gumptard saying the same thing after PSU last year.

Well, we certainly don't have a 240 lb guy on the DL like Kent St did, but I think we'll be okay on the DEFENSIVE line. That's an area I would agree that we've always been lacking since joining the SEC. But that's steadily gotten better since Petrino. We've never had the kind of depth we do now.

Now, the OL? We've always had good O-linemen, and this year is no different. It's just a matter of experience.

Was referring to the barn game last year that got all the hog fans so excited about him. He'll get his ydg. this year because of Petrino's Offense.

I've learned:

Saban will come up with brand new uninvented blitzes for Wilson

We won't be able to run in the middle

Our Defense is worse than Penn State

The CB's can easily cover any of our WR's on an island

Yet, everybody thinks it will be a good game...

Sounds like it will be elventy-billion to zip

I've been excited about Tyler since we signed him. He was a highly regarded recruit. He didn't come out of nowhere. He almost beat out mallett 3 years ago.

Im sorry. We might very well lose this game, but as for the Penn St. game, there's really no comparison between Arkansas and them. Their offense is god awful compared to ours and I think our D will hold up better than anyone besides Arky fans believe.

I think we could beat Penn St. by a very similar score as Bama did. I watched the entire game and was not impressed by them at all. They shouldn't have been ranked IMO

Alabama gets 20 or more put on them 3 times this season at minimum.
