Does this comparison also work for Arky fans?

Hell...it took a couple years to get the cloud of Nutt out of our head...

Just sayin you guys think ya'll are better this year and we defintely are as well...though I think your DL isn't what it was last season...jmo

We lost Dareus who didn't even play at 100% till Auburn and the bowl game. We still have Chapman (beast) and Square at one end and at the other end we have a 6-4 320llb monster. I'd say we are at least as good as last year on the line. Of course our LB's are second to none.

Thats the one area where I think our defense has improved at this season is the LB spot.

Nelson & Franklin are proven play makers for us, but Highsmith is going to be a damn good LB for us.

I also think the size and depth we have up front is allowing them to roam more freely this year.

Agree. ARK LB's have gotten better and the DL is sick. This game is going to be tight.

First legit defense for either team. Bama face Penn State, but I would say they are not on par with the top 7-8 defenses in the SEC from what I saw.

Bama is going to have to pass the ball to win, where as Arkansas is going to have to have a hint of a running game and the new OT is going to have to hold off the dogs.

Going to be a good one IMO.

Yall D is awesome, but I think we still score 20+. If yall can score 20+ it's a toss up.

I'm going with 28-27 Hogs

Something tells me that Alabama fans have earned the right to think highly of their program.

I expect Tyler to throw at least one pick.

We'll need to play a really good game to beat Bama, for sure.

Unless Arkansas gets no running game and falls behind early. One dimensional teams have gotten themselves in to a lot of trouble in the past with Nick Saban's defenses. As long as the corners can be put on an island, which they couldn't do last year, and Alabama can shut down the running game to pretty much nothing, the defense could have a free-for-all on the QB.

Exactly and we're not here telling the Hogs they have no chance like the dawgs were doing to Auburn.

I think he will too. He threw a couple really dumb passes into coverage against New Mexico, and if he does that against Bama they will make him pay. However, I could also see Tramain Thomas or Jerico Nelson picking off a McCarron pass as well. I'm hoping our defense shows up in a big way, because we'll need them to in order to win.

Let's face it, we did not run the ball worth a shite a year ago and gave the damn game away.

"Most" teams Alabama faces do not have the talent Arkansas has at the skill positions.

btw, we average 180.5 yds on the ground. Thats not against great Ds by any stretch, but if we can grind out just 100 or so yards, we should be fine.

He had some terrible passes in the redzone. I was getting pissed. That shite won't fly against Bama

Sorry we didn't have the strongest non-conf this year. I'd put our non-conf schedule over the past decade against anyones, we just happened to have some shitters in a row this year. It worked out well IMO so
