Mark Pope is not a high level coach. He's a hype guy. He makes Kentucky fans feel good about being Kentucky fans.
But he's not a good coach. Certainly not a good coach in the NIL era. He's going to be the crowning jewel in the failure tiara of Mitch Barnhardt.

Of course, that's how Mark Pope got this far. He was the coach at BYU because he made the Mormons feel good about being Mormon. Because he was a Mormon.
