I always viewed Louisville as kind of a low rent trashy program, and now they are recruiting NBA G-League players and I just want them to lose.

I think of Louisville as the Ali G of college basketball and I have no idea why.

It’s the linebeard vibe.

Ugh. Hate the thought of losing to them in the 3rd game of the season. But think we could get the better of them come March.

Hopefully this is a team just going through the motions but seems the backcourt is taking a serious drop off from last season.

It isn’t over. We just need to play defense and get back into the game.

Garrison has been real disappointing.

If UofL had cooled off coming out of the half I’d agree. But it’s likely over. I don’t see the defense out there to consistently get the stops to get back in it.

Back to the drawing board it is.

Mark Pope come on.

It's early in the season, but given the payroll he best have this team deep in March or people are going to start to question his ability.

With that said Jasper looks lost tonight, and our defense isn't very good. Louisville still shooting lights out

Why are you hanging out on a UK board while Arkansas is playing?

He’s waxed and waned. Had some big misses in the 1st that hurt. He’s at least consistently gotten after it on defense.

I wonder what the tone of this game would be like with JQ.

I see it the exact opposite. Considering his lack of coaching experience when he got that job it's a minor miracle he's been relatively successful. He had like five years of experience coaching high school ball and only one or two of them was as the HC. Going from that directly to leading a college program with serious expectations is a massive jump.

Somehow I didn’t know this. I see your point. I have been rooting for him bc I like the home town son story.

We still can't make our 3s or hit our free throws.
