NCBWA should lose their accreditation base on that A&M ranking. Not trying to slight the aggies. they’re still very talented, but you can’t drop 4 in a row to inferior competition and remain at 2. I would say the same if roles were reversed and LSU remained at 2 after that

yeah they're high

Don't love this game in Jacksonville. A top 20 Troy team coming to town tomorrow, obliterated JSU last week at home. Feels like a trap.

We are heading down to Orlando to play UCF and they are going to probably beat us for the 6th time in a row.

Starting pitchers
UCF - RHP Angelo Smith JR 1.50 ERA
UF - RHP Matthew Jenkins SO 10.80 ERA

Why do you guys schedule the lesser Texas teams that could actually beat you? Texas State? Now UTSA?

Are you actually asking why baseball teams schedule regional opponents midweek? Are you new to college baseball?

No, I'm asking why don't you schedule Tarleton State or Sam Houston or SFA...

Man you are going to be surprised when you finally decide to take a look at Texas’ schedule this year

I know, but we don't always work around the competition like Aggie does

You gotta pick a lane. Does A&M schedule too well or not well enough?

I assume you didn't follow baseball last year.

tu's midweek losses:
A&M
A&M Corpus
Texas St
UT Rio Grande Valley

I don’t know how Troy is doing it. Seems impossible for a mid major to overachieve in this era. If they get an SEC win they’ll really climb in the polls.

Dallas Baptist has been a pain for OU in the past. Need to beat those guys.

They always have been. I think partly because Skip uses the early/mid week game as a testing bed and to get players lower on roster playing time. Which helps later in season.

We have always struggled against them and this game will likely be no different. We are sending a new pitcher up against them too, like clockwork.

Baseball is a sport where it’s easiest. There’s a lot of talent out there to pick from. There’s a lot of “small” programs in the southeast and on the west coast that can beat anyone given the year. USM, USA, Troy, DBU, Kennesaw state, coastal Carolina, Tulane, ULL, the list goes on. Troy is honestly on the low end of that group when it comes to putting up a really good year every now and then
