Head groundskeeper told both coaches prior to the game he didn’t feel comfortable with the field. Sod was laid 5 days ago and the area has had a load of rain. They were going to give it one more inning and give the grounds crew a chance to fix some of it until the above picture happened. Umps called meeting and both coaches agreed to call it.
