Ole Miss declared a no contest due to field conditions. But they played long enough and fell behind before making the call. Convenient.

That'd be crazy if the two defending NC don't qualify for the SECt in Hoover. I know MSU didn't last year.

My uncle's been a MLB writer for 40 years. I've always told him their isn't a more competitive sport than SEC baseball.
11 out 14 schools have at least a share of conference title in the past 20 yrs. And one of those that don't, A&M, at least has a SECt tourney title. Every team has hosted a regional and been to a Super Regional outside of Mizzou.
Still a long season. I've got at least one getting there.

And if that wasn't enough we are adding Texas and OU. Both have a rich baseball history. OU was CWS runner-up just last year. It only going to get tougher.

Wrong. Umps called the game and USM coach agreed. There were other issues all game, but a whole piece of sod came detached in front of the mound. It was an injury waiting to happen
