They won't let him get anywhere near the Judiciary Committee. They'll put him on the road pothole or fish and wildlife committee.

Tuberville even having a shot in Congress is just more proof that the state of Alabama is full of morons. There is a reason this state is ranked dead last in education.

And probably why ill never move back to the state. It's full of stupid ignorant rednecks on one spectrum and criminals on the other side

I mean nothing prepares you for the complicated policy questions a Senator faces like teaching kids how to play ball.

If Mazie Hirono can do it, anyone can.

The fact that Tubbs spent much of his adult life training kids should give him a leg up on dealing with other Senators and members of the media.

Tuberville is as brainless as they come when it comes to having any really policy ideas. His whole campaign platform is “I love/support President Trump.” It’s fine that he supports Trump, but I’d really like to see my Senator have some of his own ideas for the country and for Alabama. Tuberville will need a lot of help to figure out what the heck he is doing in the Senate, and I feel like that’ll make him susceptible to the influence of others.

Yeah I'll be glad to leave again one day. Unfortunately it's going to be 10 years or longer. Living in east Tennessee is so much better.

He'll do what Trump wants until 2025 then he'll get bought off by the establishment. And we'll keep sending him back to Washington anyway.

He will probably quit working 3/4 way through his term like he did on the job as HC.

His ads are stupid pandering, full of sound bite shite that anyone with a brain knows ain't going to happen or, even if it did, wouldn't make a shite in the wind's difference to the lives of the average Alabamian. And let's not forget, Tubs was such an a-hole personally that Auburn sent a private plane in the middle of the night to try to hire Bobby Petrino to replace him (which was truly ironic, as later events proved).

It's f-ing ridiculous that we can't get a decent candidate in Alabama who isn't a pandering a-hole, religious nut-job, kid-touching creep, incompetent crook, closeted Klansman, or some combination of the above.

The really sad part is that Doug Jones is a pretty decent guy and not a left-wing whacko, but on the national level the Dems have crawled into bed with so many New York-California lunatics, and on the state level they've allied themselves with grifters like Joe Reed and Nancy Worley to the point that everyone in the party gets painted with that brush. That leaves the Republicans to decide the elections in their primaries, where the contest becomes one between not the best candidates, but the candidate who can make themselves look like the most regressive knuckle-dragger for the party dead-enders.

Yet you thought it was great to hear Dick Durbin, Amy Klobuchar, Kamala Harris, Mazie Hirono, Chris Coons and Patrick Leahy?

One year into office, Sexton will be shopping him around to other states for their Senate seats while he sits in a fricking duck blind in Arkansas.

I have a feeling he won't be assigned to the Judiciary Committee any time soon.
