He got hurt because your crappy Oline was getting smacked around each week.

Let's see both of their stats versus LSU. We all know one a W and one a L.

Just for comparative purposes, is there any montage of videos of Murray's season a la the "John Doe" YouTube videos that have been put together breaking down throws, reads, etc. of Tua's season?
Watching Murray toss balls to guys wide open after having the chance to light up a barbecue grill in the backfield with having so much time is not very impressive to me.

If we can see some of Murray's ability to read defenses, go through processions of 1st , 2nd, options, etc. would be more beneficial than posting a bunch of stats.

Can we quit pretending the Heisman is an award for the best college football player. It is and always has been an award for the best player on the best team

So Murray gets full 3rd quarter and a full season, and we don't see # of pass attempts... not saying not valid but some items missing.

False.

TCU is 22nd and 25th is obviously not “top 20.”

Murray has played no top 20 defenses.

Kyler rushing 850 yards 11 tds.... total tds 48.
Tua rushing 211 yards 5 tds, total tds 41

But just looking at the scoring per attempt aka “opportunities”...

Tua throws a TD once every 7.5 attempts, and runs in a TD once every 9 attempts.

Kyler throws a TD once every 8.3 attempts, and runs a TD once every 10.3 attempts.

Tua scores more frequently per opportunity than Kyler while throwing less INTs as well, which is to say, Tua is more efficient. And he’s done it against better defenses. Kyler is great. Tua is just better. Can’t argue with facts my man.

I could only imagine the stats Kyler would have if OU had Bamas defense

Are you saying theyd somehow be better?

How? Why?

Because of something called a running game? If QB drives the field and the RB punches it in, that TD still doesn't happen without the QB.

TUA is the greatest that has ever played the game college and pro and it's not up for debate.

Actually it’s 12th, but you would want to compare the full defense since people keep bringing up Murray’s run stats too

But if you want to compare passing defenses only...

Tua has faced 3 in the top 15, 2 in the top 5.
Kyler has faced 1 and 0 respectively.

Yea, Tua has clearly faced more elite defenses. Not really a question.

You did read that the stats quoted excluded 4th quarter stats, right?

I didn't see that but as I mentioned, Tua often dropped out fairly early in the 3rd quarter and shared time in many of the games in the first half with Jalen Hurts. You are the one not giving the full story here.

So the whole point of your dumbass post is completely wrong.

Making a simple oversight has nothing to do with the practice of "dumbassery" but even so my point stands with clarification above so no it isn't completely wrong. Your comparison is totally off-base, don't project your shortcomings onto me.

The whole better defense argument is so dumb. Yea, obviously the defenses are going to be better, as is the talent that Tua is surrounded with being the QB of Alabama with 6 projected 1st round players on the roster.

Alabama has already proven how valuable Tua is to their team, and it's not very valuable. They went to the National Championship last year without him, they beat Georgia yesterday without him, and they'll be in the National Championship next year with or without him. The Rutgers QB can go play on Alabama and get to the College Football Playoff. If Oklahoma doesn't have Murray they aren't even a .500 football team let alone in the College Football playoff. Murray's room for error is so small it's basically non-existent. His defense will never bail him out of a game like Alabama did for Tua against Miss St. and how Jalen Hurts did for him vs. Georgia. Murray is the best football player in the country and it's honestly not even close.
