and it's already been proven those stats are bullshite too. LSU hasn't even played 11 top 10 teams
*Career stats as a starter (2 seasons for both)*
LSU didn't play 11 top 10 teams the 2 years combined. And what a team is ranked when you played them doesn't count for shite. Texas was top 10 the first week of the year but aren't even top 25 by the end of the year. Alabama and Auburn aren't top 10 either. All your bullshite made up stats serve to do is undermine what Burrow actually did accomplish.
edit to say that Alabama may be final top 10 due to the bowl game but as of right now they are not

At least you're consistent..... consistently wrong. But consistent.
Alabama is currently #9 in the poll that releases a post-season poll.

those were the stats from the same website last week. It's Tua's actual pass efficiency total for the year. I copied and saved them because I knew that's how the website worked and I wanted the actual stats.
did you click the career link?
in case you didn't click it the first time

Tagovailoa also had the best pass efficiency rating this year but his injury cut short the year so he didn't complete the required 325 passes to rank for the year.
The NCAA requires you to equal a number of attempts to 15 per game for your team. Technically he reached that.
Posted on 1/5/20 at 5:46 pm to skrayper
And also play in 75% of your team’s games. Which he did not reach.

The correct single season rankings, according to your link...
1 Joe Burrow* 204.6 2019 LSU
2 Tua Tagovailoa* 199.4 2018 Alabama

How many titles did he lead Bama to? Surely he won a Heisman right?

It’s the new football. It will be broken next year.
It's crazy looking at that list and seeing the recency of almost all of the guys on it. Obviously some great QBs but also some kind of pedestrian guys who clearly weren't going to play much at the next level. It's clear that a lot of this is a function of the way the game has changed, rules have been shifted to favor passing offense, etc.

2 Tua Tagovailoa* 199.4 2018 Alabama
are you so ignorant you can't understand a simple point?
The website evidently requires 325 completions for single season and/or career pass efficiency statistics. Tua's injury cut short his season, so though his pass efficiency stats were listed during the season, up until a week ago in fact, the new listing doesn't count his 2019 season because he didn't play enough to complete 325 passes. So, a week ago the single season record stats were as noted, and Tua had posted the
#1 single season record stats for 2019, Joe Burrow was 2nd for 2019, and Tua's 2018 stats were #3.
1 Tua Tagovailoa 206.9 2019 Alabama
2 Joe Burrow* 204.6 2019 LSU
3 Tua Tagovailoa* 199.4 2018 Alabama
I copied that last week and saved it. Whether you believe me or not is of no consequence. Makes no difference, one jot nor tittle. The new single season stats don't even include Tua's 2019 season. Why? Because he didn't complete 325 passes to be included for this season. Do you still not understand?
Now, the career stats are for all the years that player played. It's a different category but evidently the minimum number of completions, 325, is the same. So though Tua's injury precluded him from playing enough this season to qualify for season ending stats, he did complete the minimum number in his career, as did Joe Burrow, and those stats are as noted below...

No amount of spin will change the fact that Tua's career pass efficiency is better than Burrows, and Tua's 2019 pass efficiency was better than Burrows, in spite of the fact his injury precluded him from playing enough to qualify for the season ending category, which is why his 2018 stats are there but his 2019 stats are not.
Jeeze fellow. It's not rocket science

hey, wait a minute. The ESPN link shows Tua and Burrow with exactly the same rating as the copy I saved. I had thought it was calculated differently, but it's the same and it shows Tua with a rating of 206.9 and Burrow with a rating of 204.6.

Tua won that national title . Jalen was like 3 of 8 for 21 yards and 0 points in the first half and he never started another game for Alabama. You can try to spin it away all you want to. It makes no difference to me.
