It’s dumb that wins are considered a QB stat

the quarterback can make or break a team as he touches the ball nearly every play. Wins and losses go through the quarterback first and foremost.

Alabama would still have won most of their games without Hurts.

I'm not arguing that point because I tend to agree with you but it is hard to bench a winner.

I think Tua gives the Alabama offense a much higher ceiling than Hurts can and I think he is just a better player.

Kiffin in the stands at the 19 sec mark giving the early TD signal.

When a QB has no pressure, and a wide open receiver streaking toward the end zone, you are supposed to complete that pass.
the only reason tua could make that throw is he has an upper level NFL arm, plus he plays the safety (who at the start of the play is trying to bait him into the every throw he ends up making). Normal college qb throwing 48 yards has to loft it up there and the safety has time to close a break it up. Tua threw a low trajectory dart, and he didn't look at his receiver one time until he threw it

That pass was not a high pass, it was thrown on a line shot. Otherwise, the safety would have been over there to challenge it.

If you look hard in the stands, up in the luxury suite, stidham in street clothes is getting sacked by a deviled egg

Have to admit, cool video and damn it is still amazing how he looked the safety off all the way then just turned and threw a dime in a heartbeat. Very impressive.

June Jones must be proud of his student....the kid has football savvy. Anybody that was at the Bama A-Day game last spring had to have seen just that. Shet just comes quick to him. #2 is perhaps the best wildcat QB to have started for 28 games for team in the NC game back to back. I hope Jalen sticks with The Tide as a QB.

Tua releases the ball as the receiver crosses the 20 yd line to hit him in stride at the goal. Hurts would have released the ball as the receiver crosses the goal line. And he would have had to stop and wait on the ball as the CB and Safety get ready to knock his jock in the dirt.

And I don’t think Tua feels pressure like most. He seems special.

Truth is he and teams played before #13 weren't used to having to defend those deep passes.

Very few SEC QB's (if any) could make that throw.

Tua is going to make our O very hard to defend in 2018.

Yeah, I'd rather be 11-1 with Hurts than 10-2 or 9-3 without him.
