They put Jalen in for like 2 series. It was not good/better.
Was the game not in-hand by then?

The way Clemson played and kicked our tails I really don’t think it would of mattered who the Bama qb was. Jalen couldn’t help stop the Clemson offense. Clemson was embarrassed by that first round playoff loss they suffered to Bama. They made up for that and then some. I’m hoping 44-16 lights a fire under Bama like it did Clemson.

His body is not built to hold up.

That's a lot of muscle. A lot of weight.

It's a sad deal, but the very best of Tua has already been seen.

If he was smart he’d sit this year out. Nothing to gain everything to lose

Love Tua as a person and athlete (have great respect for him); however, he's getting prone to injury. Wish him the best.

Toughness is not measured by someone's ability to stay healthy. He has had a run of injuries, sure, but he played through multiple last season. The kid is tough.

He also doesn't shy away from lowering his shoulder to get the extra yard either.

Well that gives the fanbases outside of Bama hope for 2019.

We'll see.

Soft? He played after having surgery on his ankle. Often injured, yes. Soft, no.

Soft is the word you're looking for. Guy is as talented as they come. But toughness is one area he is definitely lacking in.It'd be scary what he could do if he could ever stay healthy

Dang, that was a hard hit. How did that game turn out for Mississippi State? The way the D was playing they must have shutout Bama that night.
