If this was true than Less will not be around next season, He has lost this team and 2012 will be a train wreck. Sad because your preseason number 1.
Dude, come on. You can't be serious.

If you think about it with all the fans bashing Less and they are preseason number 1, What would keep Less from saying the heck with this, and leaving for a NFL job. The pressure next season will be 100x times worse, after what happen Monday night, just think what the fan base will say after he losses the first game next season with expectations as high as they are going to be

Les loves coaching college kids, and I don't see him giving that up anytime soon. While I doubt he's had much fun since Monday, I would be totally shocked if it was enough to make him leave LSU. I think he loves it down there. He's got a ton of talent coming back, and he's bringing another strong class in. They will be strong again next year, and likely for years to come. The idea of someone like Les Miles quitting because of criticism over one game is absurd.

This is gonna be one of those long, slow, yet incredibly intense, meltdowns. Its gonna make Fukushima look like an Easy Bake oven.

Not at all. I mean, he just led them to a 13-1 season. They fell just short of perfection. They may have lost in the biggest game, but it is still just one game. His stock is high, has been high, and will continue to be high. I don't think they're going to have some monumental collapse because of this game.

Bottom line:
Bama was better prepared, wanted it more, and kicked LSU's arse.
It happens.
LSU's defense played well enough to win, no doubt.

Bizarro World.
Bammers talking rational about the LSU football program, as LSU fans in total ape-shite mode...

All these stupid rumors are pathetic. I think people are just trying to put in their own minds the anything, other than that Bama whipped up on a great LSU team. I think it is simple what happened. Bama players and coaches were more hungry and wanted to win more. LSU coaches and players were not. We all saw the first game and how LSU could hang with BAMA even in Tuscaloosa. To lay the egg they did in NEW ORLEANS of all places is simply a matter of a team not playing up to their potential. This is on Miles and staff and the players. Plenty of blame to go around.
I am sad that this LSU team did not give BAMA nation, their players and coaching staff a better game. LSU could have easily done so and provided much more entertainment than the snooze fest we all witnessed.
However, having said all that, could something have happened? Definitely. It is odd for this team to come out flat, play flat, and lose flat. The coaches were not in it, the players were not in it, and certainly their play in the game bore that out. I am not going to believe that though because that is just an excuse and tries to make BAMA's victory seem less legit. BAMA whipped LSU's butt all over the field is the bottom line and the only thing that matters.
I am just glad the Jordan Jefferson era is over. I wish Jarrett Lee could have had a shot, but I am also glad he is going as he has shown to not handle pressure well at all. Hopefully, the QBs in the next few years will turn out better than these two guys. I have all the respect for Jarrett Lee and how he has handled his time at LSU. Jefferson not so much and I'll leave it at that. Oh, ****** Perrilloux.

Or he was benched because he's not very good. Like the rest of the season.

Sounds far fetched, but I'm sure Bama fans will remember when Freddy Millons wouldn't get off the bus (vs Vandy?) in 2000 because Watts was starting instead of Zow.

I know y'all need for there to be a reason you got demolished the way you did to make you feel better about it. And you will mask it by claiming you hope it's not true because of some fear of it carrying over. But I hate to tell you, a team that was having internal problems pre-game and everything else some of you are trying to dream up doesn't come out of the tunnel fired up and even RUN TO ALABAMA'S SIDELINE, THUMPING THEIR CHESTS AND TAUNTING THEM.
That makes absolutely no fricking sense whatsoever.
Be a man, and own up to the fact Alabama is the better football team and beat that arse like a red headed stepchild.
I keep hearing LSU's defense played good enough to win... No they didn't. We gained almost 400 yards of total offense on you. We aren't OSU, we aren't West Virginia, and we aren't Houston. We don't have some high powered offense that is talked about on ESPN every week. And we put nearly 400 yards on LSU.
Get some nuts and admit the truth about it. Maybe your mangina won't show as much.

I can see something like that happening, and even though I'm glad of the outcome. For whatever reason, if these players did that, they have to be the most selfish people in La. They cheated their fellow teammates and their fans out of so much. People put out so much to be able to be at that game to support their team, and to not give your all because of your ego is just being selfish. The fans were cheated.
I don't know what happened to LSU on that night, but I can say that I've never seen them play like that before. The most surprising thing was looking at them on the bench. They really didn't look like they cared that they were losing. If it had been reversed, I promise you the Bama players would have been looking down and out, and certainly not talking with each other on that bench. I've seen LSU lose before, but I have never seen Coach Miles act as he did after that game. I honestly think something did happen before the game, just not sure what it was.
I loved the outcome, but we also wanted to play LSU at their full strength. I think we would have won anyway, but we don't want any doubt.
