I disagree about never accomplishing anything but I understand what you are saying. We havent done as well as some but we have had our moments.

I agree we have enormous potential and Jimbo has only touched the tip of the iceberg. Now that schools such as LSU are down is the perfect time to strike. We have a bright decade ahead of us.

Hey, don’t shite on Baylor and Houston. They are the real deal. If UTSA can get that next step, it’ll be three teams.

Can someone explain this to me in terms of how A&M has an advantage over most programs?

So if the Aggies really did pay near $30 mil just for this recruiting class, that means the total payroll for the whole team has to be north of $60 mil. That's gonna be hard to sustain even for their alumni. One thing's for sure is Jimbo's lying through his teeth, as it took a whole lotta cash to get that class he just signed.

Y'all have milkmen calling cheers with crazy self-pleasing hand motions and thousands of people think that is totally normal...and you also do this at midnight.

Nothing normal about 8T4.

Nobody is scared of Texas A&M.

You had all that "potential" bullshiite and cash and alumni base and a blank checkbook years ago. It was called the Southwest Conference, circa 1980s.

And you didn't win anything of consequence then, either.

You were placed on probation. Twice.
You were bowl banned.
You lost scholarships.
Your supposed stud coach (Sherrill) left before he could be fired.

It's still been 1939 since you won a national championship. You tried to claim one in 2012 with Johnny Manziel, except you finished 3rd in the SEC West with two losses.

The Aggies have signed a lot of quality high school players. One of them is bound to say something about his NIL money. People will connect the dots between Aggie money and recruiting. And lawyers -- lawyers with University of Texas law degrees -- will prove in court that A&M broke Texas state law.

Scared of A&M? No reason to.
We're miffed, for now. But mostly we're highly amused.

My bad. I know you Aggies don't like to read.

(You even misspelled your own logo.)

plhawg, by your logic, A&M would be paying each of their players over $700,000 per year. Do you honestly believe that? Do you really think A&M just made a deal with 20 high school kids for over $30M. Do you realize how much money that is? That is more than most NFL players get paid. Surely you don't honestly believe that.

If so, I got some oceanfront property in Arkansas I will make you a deal on.

No one is worrying about A&M. And anyone who truly believes that big time NIL money didn’t bring this class in is either clueless or lying. The Aggies love to brag about their money and the claim that they can buy whatever they want. When they buy a #1 recruiting class, suddenly they are insulted that anyone would dare to suggest $ had anything to do with it. Get real. Money had everything to do with it. And Fishers over the top threats and insane ranting only makes people wonder what he is so worked up over. There are actually some rules in the NILs and from his volcanic reaction it looks like he might have broken them. Maybe someone should looking into this.

TAMU will likely have a roster that can compete for SEC and National Championships for the foreseeable future.

I just don't think ole Bimbo is a good enough HC to lead them there.

Money sure bought a big time roster. But how many of these guys are going to stay once they witness first hand the weirdness that is A&M
