Not a “big name” hire, but what he’s done at Kentucky for the last several years is pretty damned impressive.

I totally agree. He gets to play in the East, which means he's got a significantly easier path to Atlanta.

False. Stoops guarantees a 9 win year usually sometimes 10 but he’s not winning a title. He’s Les Miles minus the goofy act

He can never win a title at UK and will continue on in relative anonymity. He could win it all more than once at LSU and make over 10m a year. You’re right, though, some guys aren’t ambitious.

Only school he’ll leave us for is Iowa. Once Ferentz hangs it up they’ll come calling and he’ll head to Iowa City.

Stoops built this program over years. He won 2 games in year 1. It took him 4 seasons to get above 0.500. This program was in the abyss hoping to just beat Vandy when he arrived.
There's no patience for that at LSU. They are talking about firing O a season removed from a Natty.

I made no claim of a UK win. Vegas has them as a +21 dog.
Still, they appear to be the second best team in the East...and that's light years better than in the pre-Stoops era.
