Well I'm a Bama fan and even I can say that Bo was one of the best athletes ever to come from our state.
On another note you might not believe this but Namath was one of the best athletes to ever play for Bama and I'm not just talking about his arm. I got a friend of mine that was playing back then who said Namath was not only the best offensive player but also the best defensive player we had on the team. Before he tore his ACL he was running like Cam Newton. Faster than anyone on the team. And could have played any position he wanted. Too bad we didn't know how to deal with ACL's back then.
