I just read that in 1986 he posted a 4.12 forty at the NFL combine. He then ran a 4.18 the next week. It is definitely going to be scrutinized but damn.

Then again, his lateral quickness on Techmo Bowl was nothing to be fricked with.

ETA: Link of said speed.

Talking trash about a Bowl Game almost 30 years ago...I've seen it all now.

I'm going to say this is false by today's timing standards, but Bo Jackson was still a badass regardless (and even though he played for Auburn.)

Bo only had 130 yards in a game where A&M stacked the box due to an awful Auburn passing performance.

Bo Jackson is my favorite athlete of all time. Is your UTI burning so bad that you get upset over a little ribbing about Bo in a thread about him?

It's not like I used a 1980s Cotton Bowl to run smack in a random thread

I agree. I don't know what it was about the competition he was playing against at the time, but when we played him, he looked like the most overrated player I have ever seen. We whipped him.

He was okay in the pros I guess.

Upset? No.

Shaking my head at you having to rely on a bowl game 30 years ago to trash talk about beating an SEC team, yes.

A&M is more irrelevant than Auburn was before it won a National Title*

*According to Alabama/other SEC fans. The * is not an indicator of a championship won by cheating, which even if it was, y'all mad we cheat with style.

Calm down, killer. Why are you so upset over losing a bowl game 25 years ago?
