I would go "Little Black Sambo" as Kipling and Conrad rely on the Imperialism of Britain while Bannerman (a female Scot) went the other way in the push for independence in India. The antagonist (the tiger) represents the British Empire and is always trying to eat Sambo (who represents India). Each volume, written where even children can understand, Sambo uses his brain to outwit the tiger in every book.

As a non linear thinker my sorting is based more on "nesting" where that which you use the most are first in reach. While that may work for a home library with a single user, but on large scale multi user DDC or LOC are more adaptable. Having my work product from my youth in the actual LoC, I have a sentimental preference there.

Have a cousin who looked EXACTLY like this in the late 60's and early 70's.

He went to Harvard tho, wicked smart.

Married well
Did well

Back in an age when smarts and employment stability mattered. No way he breeds in this day and age.

I’m personally a fan of his Piano Sonata No. 14. But us Kentucky fans are more civilized and varied in general.

Was remade by one of my favorite directors, Akira Kurosawa. Best known for "The Seven Samurai" which was remade in the USA as "The Magnificent Seven" and even has a space version, "Battle Beyond the Stars".

He made the Asian film "ran" that was his adaptation of King Lear set in feudal Japan. Not sure if they made a restored version for recent release, but the theater version from almost a half century ago was spectacular! (probably filmed between 1975 and 1985).

Slave labor job in my distant past. Paid below minimum wage and had a NDA so got no credit for it and can take no credit for it. One of my early life lessons learned, the wealthier your employer, the worse the pay you will get and the more hours you will work for free.
