I think 2 years is the sec rule unless you are dismissed from a team.

Possibly this, but UGA also doesn't place restrictions of transfers so it could be that as well. Bama didn't release Corey Grant to Auburn which was why he had to site two years or walk on one year.

UGA released Tray when they kicked him off of the team. They had no say-so where he went after that.
