Maybe he is still a Dawg at heart and is going to return the favor for this. I'm sure Auburn fans already love him though. He's a pretty cool dude, just couldn't get his head on straight in Athens. Wish the best for him except for one game out of the year.

Looks like the other guy is the one that put his hands on the ball.

Congrats! If he straightens himself out, he will be a good get for you guys. Auburn has a good record of turning kids around and making it pay off. He'll be a good player for you guys.

Has Cobb Dawg gone postal yet?

The other guy tipped it up. Matthews, however has his hands positioned to catch instead of knock it away. had he extended his hands and knocked the ball away as he should have the game would have been different.
That said, he was a freshman and both of them made a freshman mistake. He will be a good player for you.

Not that I know of. I hate losing good players as much as the next guy. But....hey, the main thing is he gets straightened out and does well. Auburn has a good track record of it. Good for them. if I were in Matthews shoes, I would probably go with Auburn, too.

Lol @ Gus.

It sorta scares me that he is somewhere in my county.

May need to not wear any Auburn stuff for a bit.

He won't play for free. He will sit out a year, then, if Richt releases him (and he will) Matthews will get a scholly. I THINK it can work like that.
It will be a good deal for both of them. (Matthews and Auburn)
