Some are saying he’s 50/50 now on actually coming back. Rumor is a massive NIL deal being worked on to keep him. If it’s true….. could we start seeing more players coming back for NIL deals??

Anything is possible with NIL, not sure what Burks has as a draft grade. If he is a first rounder or even second though I seriously doubt he stays. That's giving up millions and risking his ability to make millions beyond that. The only guys I could see that working for would be someone like Johnny Football or Tim Tebow, those guys could have made serious bank from NIL.

I agree with this, but when is the juice worth the squeeze?
Doesn’t his value (for first contract) go down considerably if he isn’t a day 1? I know nothing about NFL contracts, as I don’t watch it. I realize it will be more than NIL, but if he comes back and gets that big 1st round contract, would that be worth it? Don’t most players only get 1 contract?

Burks needs to go to the NFL. He has nothing more to prove and the risk of injury is too great. Hope he doesn't opt out of the Outback Bowl though.

Why does that matter? 50-150K a year from NIL and potential injury? Over millions out the gate as a first rounder?

He’s bigger, stronger and possibly faster than both Metchie and Williams and those are the two best receivers I’ve seen this year.
I’m bias but Wilson and Olave just looks like the usual small, spread OSU guys that don’t do a ton in the NFL.
Burks is likely going to be a combine freak as well. He’s not coming back.
