I don't expect any deep balls to be flying this Saturday night.

We're gonna have to take what y'all give us in front of the safeties and, hopefully, attack your banged up LBs with our TE and the flats.

Gonna be a good one.

Should make for a pretty great matchup: deep secondary vs. deep receiving corps.

Hargreaves is injured right now. Isn't at his best. We may actually see Tabor lined on him because Hargreaves has seemed a step slower than usual. Still staying with receivers but his tackling was lacking last week and that's one thing he's always done. Wrap and bring down. He was clearly in pain. I almost want him to sit for this game and get fully healthy, but it's a game we need him and Tabor both on the outside for.

He is. And Tabor will have the same hype going into next season. And so will Quincy. So to answer your question, yes. Florida has three elite corners on their team. You just don't hear about Tabor and Quincy because they are overshadowed by VH3 being a junior and top 10 pick next year.

Three. Poole as the slot is one of the best in the country. He sucks outside, but inside he plays the run well, great in zone, and can stop short outs and slants well . His big issue is his speed isn't good enough outside. Very few corners play the slot better in CFB right now. He's average outside though. Wilson is good but not elite.

I don't know about Wilson. He lacks the top end speed to be elite IMO. Still can be a very good college player though.

Tabor may go higher than VH3 when he comes out in all honesty. His size will have NFL teams salivating.

I'd much rather see Tabor take on Treadwell with help and have VH3 shut down their #2 option.

seeing this on paper concerns me greatly. the defensive secondary that florida runs on the field presents serious problems for an offense like the rebels have...fortunately, ole miss has 5 major weapons on the field at the same time offensively...and I am hoping to see the first dominant game of the season from that hybrid tight end that we have. Ingram will be a key to victory, in my opinion.

Hargreaves would only drop out of the top DB spot if the injuries persist and it scares teams off. Tabor is freaking great, but Hargreaves is a better true lock down corner. Which I think makes him more valuable.

Was looking at their WR's early and nearly every fricking one is 6'2' plus. That must be nice.

The thing about that is Florida is going to have the first three options locked down on most plays. And with the offensive line struggles for Ole Miss, will Chad Kelly have time to find his fourth or fifth option? Especially with the elite pass rushers that Florida will be sending after him. Bullard, McCallister, Cece, Cox, Ivie, Justus Reed, Caleb Brantley, etc. won't give Chad Kelly enough time to survey the field the way you're anticipating him to imo. It'll be interesting to see if he is able to and has enough time.

Should we expect to see Wilson trying to cover Atta boy Joe in the slot?

Could be trouble.

Our 3 Wideout with 1 TE sets create matchup nightmares for just about anybody.

It is very hard for a team to find a way to cover the 4 we throw out there.

I have more faith in VH3, Tabor, and Quincy Wilson locking down Ole Miss's first three options than I do in any other secondary in the entire country.

It's big words and high praise, but it is warranted. Florida's secondary is for real. They held Tennessee's receivers to a total of 3 catches on Saturday.

Trust me, so am I. I'm worried about how our offense will react to Mississippi's defense. Tennessee's defense is good, but not on Ole Miss's level. I'm hoping Griers performance in the 4th quarter against Tennessee carries over to this game.
