Lack of trash cans and 100,000+ people spread out over an entire college campus creates a lot of trash. Unfortunately a lot of people also do not know how to clean up after themselves when packing up tailgates.
it's like this literally after every single home game
I was out at ESPN gameday and in two hours the crowd had just destroyed the area on the parade grounds with trash everywhere. it's a cultural problem.

They should bring their own trash bags.
This is what I did last home game against Ole Miss, because they put 0 trash cans near my tailgate. Most people around me did the same
But by 2 pm, there were full trash bags everywhere and no where to put them.

Some people are fricking lazy slobs and we have a high number of those tailgating at LSU. They need to pick up their own shite. Pisses me off.

Yes, apparently so, but it still doesn't make it right to throw your shite on the ground. Such disrespect to our campus.
Maybe Alleva and LSU should tap into a revenue stream and start ticketing for littering.

It's pretty tough to get 100K+ to not throw some shite on the ground. At our spot, the garbage cans are overflowing after the game. It's not like people aren't trying.

lazy azz people, buy a box of garbage bags when you go shopping. why rely on LSU to supply this item...
Some do, some don't..
We bring our own bags and will collect our trash ourselves and have it sitting neatly next to the cans for pickup later.

Is it always this bad?
Yes. It pisses abunch of ppl off too. LSU does not provide enough trashcans or trashbags to cover the problem. Most fans bring their own trashbags but they pile the bags up next to already full trashcans and then during and after the game punk teenagers come and knock over the cans and rip of the bags.

Yes, and that story gets written every year.

Misleading thread title. Thought this was about their fans.

The alternative is to have shitty tailgating like everyone else
Sorry for partying
Though some tailgating spots piss me off with the trash thing.
