I'm not really discussing Texas from an on the field perspective. Look how they destroyed the Southwest Conference and Big 12 now. That's the bigger danger than losing a few games.

Agreed but they definitely wont hold any power over Alabama in the SEC.

Not a one.

We wouldn’t “block” anything.
But we sure as hell wouldn’t vote for their admittance.

Sounds like blocking to me.

I see your point but disagree. Texas wouldn’t block aggie coming back to the BIG 12. They wouldn’t block SMU if they tried.

Kick out State. Y'all's maroon is jacked up, anyways. One Mississippi school is more than enough.

In all honesty, MSU should fold into Ole Miss. Mississippi has no actual need for two schools that are both relatively small and shitty. I'd miss the Egg Bowl but it makes sense on every level.

Because it would help them. Duh.

Tell me you have no idea what you’re talking about without telling me you have no idea what you’re talking about.

Small geographic state, small population state, no money, small student bodies. No need for two "major" schools.

Ole Miss is at least a known name with some literary mystique

The existence of MSU serves no purpose. It's not a notable for anything. Starkville has no appeal that needs to be retained.

The only thing Mississippi seems to win at, is eating.

A single Mississippi school would be on par with LSU as far as recruiting access and such. I think it would be a football powerhouse
