I would not ever dare argue that LSU is better than Arkansas in basketball although all it would take is one magical run and we would have equally as many titles as you. Arkansas could win the next 7 CWS championships and would only be tied with LSU’s historical success in baseball. This should be a humbling reality for you unless you do not live in reality.

History is great and all, but I don't really care about anything baseball right now except whether or not we win it this year. Just like every year.

Historically, yeah you've been better if the litmus test is titles (and it should be).

But you could argue that we are the best program never to have one it all.
And every single Hog fan on this board feels the pain of that. It absolutely sucks because at least twice in recent memory we were probably the best team there and didn't get it done.

The life of a Hog fan for sure.
Weve been there quite a bit. And it sucks that we've never won it.

And the most famous people from Louisiana can barely speak English and chase gators around the swamp hollering "choot 'em".

Make it more obvious that LSU’s 7 CWS titles compared to Piggy’s 0 CWS titles hits you straight in your little piggy wiggly

Piggy fans need to stick to throwing shite at their real rival, Missouri, instead of biting at Daddy LSU’s ankles

One, it’s true, and two, what other argument are we supposed to make?

Umps are getting so terrible in the SEC, we cannot move to automated strike zone fast enough. If you want to call a consistent bad zone, so be it. But to redraw your zone each half inning is awful and just confuses every batter. When the catcher is disagreeing with you late in the game about your calls, you know it's bad.

Why are we hiring a guy that was fired by MiLB for poor performance?

Well, maybe. But Florida State has 21 CWS appearances and has never won it all. 3 times runner-up. I think they got us in the futility bowl.

It was a good series, tigers. I thought we had you in game 1, but LSU refused to lose and came back. Game 2 was a beat-down, for sure and game 3 was pretty competitive.

The ump was bad, but he was consistently bad. One corner, the pitcher never got and the other corner, he always got - regardless who threw it and who was batting. I'll take bad - just be consistent.

Wouldn't do me any good to say "after reading this thread.... Go' Cocks" as you guys are very obviously the better team, so, see you down the road!

No one has said a national seed is denied.
Literally the first reply in this thread.

But I am surprised that you believe it is all but locked for Arkansas.
Now THIS is something no one has said. Especially considering I just said Tennessee will have denied us a national seed on the same page as your post.

I can't say I'm sweating it though. We have the #1 ELO, a top 5 RPI, and sit in 2nd place in the best conference in baseball after last weekend. All of which are higher than LSU. You can say I'm being difficult, I call it being informed.
