Woody Hayes set the bar for hitting players. I remember watching this game on tv and not believing what had happened. He was fired the next day.

A&M fans are pathetic. Any fan who applauds a player getting punched on the sideline is a classless dude.
I'm not surprised, they've been irrelevant to the college football world except for that 1998 Big 12 championship and their national championships back in the 30's.
They're a fan base that's eager to become relevant and you can tell....

Oh hush. There's no reason to believe Sumlin anticipated or condones that behavior. We'll find out tomorrow, once Sumlin has had a chance to review the tape, what happens to the tPOS. Every program has some bad apples. If Sumlin doesn't announce that the guy is out on his arse, then we can talk.
Edit: Incidentally, Suh has been suspended for the next game. There is justice in the universe even if the NFL is too cowardly to give him a half-season suspension like he deserves after repeated acts of thuggery.
