I'm surprised Tiger Stadium is getting this much love in this thread. Where's all the "your fans leave by half time" and "it isn't what it used to be"...?

Went to the LSU-Florida night game last year and Ben Hill Griffin was consistently DEAFENING-loud. Although, I kinda find it hard to measure how loud we are in Tiger Stadium bc I'm yelling the entire time, especially at our loudest. I think the visiting team's fan's would be more intimidated by noise, thus noticing it more. Just my rationale

To me BDS is the toughest, hate playing there.

Historically speaking SC seems to have played better / tougher on the road than at home.. but our program has made a real effort to give us a strong home field advantage and I think we're like 12-2 at home over the last 2 seasons.

15-20 years from now a huge % of the elderly ticket holders will have died off and BD will be allot louder.
This is a huge problem at Neyland as well.

There is only one choice when considering a topic such as this...
War Memorial

Arkansas should play most of its game at War Memorial and Fayetteville should get one cupcake and one SEC game a year!

that was a bad joke. I like the current arrangement and hope it stays in place forever and ever. LSU at War Memorial is a timeless tradition, like the Masters.

You are probably never going to see Tiger Stadium
in it's top form. When we had our big rivalry w/Tulane we would play them in the final game of the year the Sat. before Thanksgiving . Both Student bodies were still in school. This is one of the biggest reasons that Arky/LSU haven't cultivated their rivalry to the level both schools would like.
So absence of students greatly reduces the game experience in TS. Along w/the fact that CBS is making Arky/LSU move back to Fri. which means even less students back. And the Fri.games start @ 1:30 which has the effect of putting a mute on the crowd til about the 4th quarter.
I'm assuming that you've been to Tiger Stadium.
You didnt mention if you've been to Aub.,Fla.,Ga., S.C. or Tenn to compare with Ala.
their rivalry to the level

1. LSU or UF
3. Auburn
4. Alabama
5. UGA
I disaree with UGA being the top 7 of loud SEC stadiums. I have been to quite a few games where the stadiums so quite its crazy.
It can be loud at times but it is never a sustained noise level.

No, it can't. It's like a giant game of cat got your tongue, and the cat really does have your tongue, which is now like some bovine labia with claw marks and fur on it and how are they going to attach it now? Here smell this finger yep it's Herschel

Can you imagine if we had enclosed the stadium off Sandford? Then UGA would be straight up rockin but a little less aesthetically pleasing

Your wrong but your rebuttal is so awesome that I defer to your wisdom
It would be unreal. Sound wouldn't escape and we could finally have 1 student section. I have read if they filled it all the way we'd have 113,000+ and tje loudest stadium in football.
There is also this idea that would get us to 101,000+ maybe more but looks awful
Then this is the most likely and I think it's the plan that will actually happen and this will put us in the 100,000s I think.
Personally I like the 3rd idea for likely solutions but Id love for the other endzone to be filled. Idc about Sanford drive or the view, I'm there for a game anyway. We'd have the largest stadium by far and noise would be easy

Love the stadium and the town, but it's certainly not the 4th toughest place to play. Only time it's held a candle ot others on that list was when the sound system was pumping soldja boy through the speakers and the team came out wearing black.

Guess you weren't at 2005 AU. Hell even 2003 or 2009. I have been to these places, Sanford is louder
