He won't. Being competitive in the SEC requires top 5 recruiting annually. Saban does it, Kirby does it, Orgeron typically does it.
Harsin won't connect with these southern kids and Auburn isn't a good enough program to recruit at that level.

Strangely, every coach at Auburn since 1981 has been undefeated or won the SEC.
If Harsin can’t win, he will be fired.
If Harsin can win, he will be here a long time.
It is what it is.
We do not have any data for Coach Harsin at Auburn.
Maybe we should watch a season or two of games and see whether he can build a program to compete.
He either will or will not.
