Auburn doesn't have a d-lineman even worth mentioning

I think they’ll be a middle of the pack DL. We don’t have a dominant guy inside who will eat up blocks and I’ll believe we have a pass rusher when I see it against an OL not wearing an Auburn jersey.

Last year under Steele they depended on an outside rush which never developed with Big Cat, things will be different under Mason. AU has some talent on the DL and LB and some depth.

I think Wooden, Walker, and Hunter are all three guys that will end up being very good players. I’m just not sure if they’ll take that leap this year.

Like who, exactly? Please provide specific examples and back up your answers with facts. Thanks.

Even with the scheme change, you need guys in the middle to eat up blockers. That was the main issue last year. Teams only had to dedicate one blocker to each DT and it allowed them to always get to the second level.

I think the talent will eventually get there, but not sure how soon.

I know from the last two classes you’ve got Walker (#3 SDE), Brooks (#6 WDE), and Hunter (#7 DT).

ETA: Wooden is another who wasn’t rated highly but produced for us last year and showed a ton of potential.

I'm not sure if you need to lay off the sauce, or have your mommy tuck you in. Maybe both.

So basically, no one. Have any of them played meaningful minutes? What are their stats? I'm just not seeing the Marlon Davidson's and Derrick Brown's these days.

Last year the problem was depth at LB. The DL would stand up the OL at the LOS, but the LBs would get lost in the crowd because of their size and depth. AUs secondary played press man all year without any pressure for the outside and QBs made them pay for it. AU had to lead the Conference in 3rd and Long first downs given up by the D.

Produced what? A very mediocre season and an absolute arse blasting at the hands of Daddy Bama

*sigh* The first three are all based off potential since they’re young guys, but they have the recruiting ranking you seem to think is so important.

Wooden was a starter at DT last year as a SO

Wooden: 41 total tackles, 9 TFL, 3.5 sacks (3rd on the team)

You mean the two guys that were easily the best DL duo in the country when they played? Well no crap

He would have easily been Bama’s second most productive DT last year and had more tackles than Barmore.

Not familiar with Wooden. Never heard of him. Don't remember him at all last season. Guessing the other 2 guys have no meaningful minutes or stats. So like I said, no one. Just hopes and dreams.

Take a gander at Will Anderson when you get a chance. True freshman at Bama last season. 7 sacks. Ho-hum Freshman All-American.

This doesn’t surprise me given most of your posts

Walker played more as the season went on but was still getting in shape. The other two are freshman this year... so no, no minutes or stats.

I’m aware of Anderson, being a football fan and whatnot. He’s an excellent LB.

I'm sure you are, because he doesn't suck dick on a shitty program like the 3 losers you posted. You will become more and more familiar with Anderson as time goes by.

You gotta try some new bait man. This stuff works on some guys, but way too shiny for most of us.

Am I supposed to invite him over for dinner as time goes by or something? How am I going to become more familiar with the dude? He’s an excellent LB and I’m aware of that

C Nite is just trying to draw you out. He knows nothing about football and only repeats what the Cult tells him on websites and newsletters. He is getting pissed that he is getting ignored on here. Again, a 13 year old that only knows what the Cult tells him.

You'll see him destroying acne Bo in the Iron Bowl of course. But you already knew that
